OCA's Principal has extensive experience managing architectural and engineering design services, including a significant project at New Jersey City University .He oversaw the design and construction of a new 81,000 square-foot tower as part of the Arts and Science Building. Under his leadership, the firm not only validated the client's program but also optimized it by eliminating the unnecessary elements, reducing the building's footprint by approximately 6,000 square feet. This strategic approach resulted in a cost saving of $1.4 million.

The new tower, with an estimated construction cost of $18 million, houses offices for the Dean of Arts and Science, classrooms, computer labs, a dance studio, and the university's information technology operations. The project presented significant challenges, including the need for careful phasing and life safety planning to ensure uninterrupted operations in the existing building. Additionally, the project emphasized sustainable design and energy efficiency, aligning with modern standards for environmentally responsible construction.
